Thomas Kerbel

Thomas Kerbel began his career in glass in 2001 at Talisman Glass in Chicago. There he took a complete series of classes from Basic to advanced techniques. Corning School of Glass in Corning, NY became Tom’s next destination. There he learned a new world of lampworking techniques under a progressive 3 week class. With doors unlocked and new paths taken, possibilities opened up, and Thomas landed an apprentice position at Peter Patterson Glassworks in Mundelein IL. http://www.glassvisionary.com/

Darren Parker

Darren Parker works primarily with watercolor pencil and graphite pencil. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1985 with a BFA (concentration in graphic design). Darren worked as a graphic designer until 1995 at which time he started self publishing his art in St. Paul, MN. He was published in US ART magazine. He has worked on several commissions and has had multiple solo shows. Darren recently relocated from Key West to Seattle.

Andrea Fackler

Andrea Fackler has been weaving since age 12. As a young adult, she studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and studied abroad in Kyoto, Japan. Andrea creates Shifu (handmade paper cloth); Ikat (cloth that has been tyed with resists and then dyed); Saki-Ori (Japanese rag rugs) and Shibori (Japanese tie-dye).

Brad Strain

Brad Strain was born in Melbourne, Australia and moved to Seattle, WA in 2002, where he currently lives with his wife and daughter. Brad trained in fine art photography; he likes to drink a lot of coffee, paint and make films. Andy Hoyos

Andy Hoyos is an artist working out of Issaquah, WA. He has worked as a conceptual visualist and art director for PC and console games since 1990. Recently he has turned to fine art; he's been creating limited edition Giclee prints on canvas and watercolor paper. He also creates traditional acrylic and oil paintings on canvas.

Andy is inspired by the philosophies of Joseph Pilates and others; his works primary focus on the human body in a state of 'physical meditation', using the disciplines of Yoga and Pilates. His wife, Michelle, is a Pilates trainer (and is quite familiar with Yoga). She is the original source of his inspiration. The focus of Andy's works will be expanded to include other physical disciplines in the near future. The goal of the work is to give the viewer a small slice of beauty and inspiration.

Nasrin Afrouz

Born in Tehran, Iran, Nasrin Afrouz studied art and graduated from the University of Tehran with a bachelor's degree in fine arts in 1987. In 1994, Nasrin moved to Seattle and started studying English at the local Community College. In 1997 she earned a certification in Visual Communication Technology in the field of Graphic Design and Electronic Prepress.

Nasrin is an accomplished artist and has exhibited her work several times. She has taught classes in drawing and painting at local community centers and at community colleges. Nasrin has worked in advertising firms, has taught physically disabled children and has coordinated children's art programs. She has also helped secondary school students prepare for their university entrance exams in Fine Arts.
