Joseph Baldwin

Joseph Baldwin was born in Belleville, Illinois in the United States. In the 1990s he studied photography and sculpture at Southwestern Illinois College while working as a screen printer and later went on to work in newspapers as an advertising designer and an editor. Early in his career, he left the newspaper business to return to making art full time. This led to a series of publications and exhibits of video and print in St. Louis, Chicago, Los Angeles, Wilmington and Montreal in the Americas and overseas in Osaka, Seoul, Manila and Tokyo.

Joseph exhibits and publishes regularly in galleries, print, video and on the web. He works in photography, video, sound, sculpture and mixed media. He's open to collaborations, critiques, group projects, etc. He is currently studying Moving Image Arts at the University of Illinois and works as an artist doing post-production/retouching/& set-up for a custom photo/printing studio.
